RECIPE #3

Okay so for my recipe #3, I was supposed to make Pininyahang Manok but while I was "googling" KV asked what I was planning to cook and when he learned about the dish he didn't seem excited so I realized that I was being biased and just wanted the food for myself. So I switched recipe to

CHICKEN ALA KING

This is one of KV's favorites in KFC but of course that's not the recipe I'm following so he got a little confused as how it became chicken ala king. So here are the ingredients:

5 chicken fillet
1 small  evaporated milk
1 bell pepper
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup corn - I'm adding this so KV would appreciate it more!haha
1 cup chicken broth
3 tbsp butter
1 small can mushroom sliced

Cook chicken then dice. Saute bell pepper, mushroom and corn on butter, set aside. On a separate pan, melt butter then put flour, whisk. Combine broth and milk then pour on the pan half-half. Add salt, pepper and wait till mixture is thickened. Add chicken, bell pepper and mushroom... tah-dah!!!!!

So I didn't know the dish that tasted oh soo good is so simple to make!!!!

RECIPE #2

This will be the official blog site for myFOODblog so for those who weren't able to check RECIPE #1 here is the link: http://veetz.tumblr.com/post/15561776780/myfoodblog

So its dinner time and here I am again challenging myself, inspired by my sons reaction last night with my BEEF AND CORN recipe, to continue to learn new dish (actually to learn how to cook) just in time for Carl's arrival. And being the picky-eater my son is, I googled  fish recipes for kids and saw this:

BROILED TILAPIA WITH PARMESAN

Kv loves Tilapia but I just wasn't sure about the cheese coz he aint crazy about it unlike other kids. And here are the ingredients:

4 pcs     Tilapia fillet
1/4         Butter -but since I like it buttery its 1 stick for me.LOL
1/2 cup  Parmesan Cheese
1/2tsp    lemon juice
80ml      Mayonnaise
             Onion Powder
             Salt
             Pepper
             Dried Basil

Preheat Broiler to 175C for 10 mins. Spread some little butter on the fillet and sprinkle some lemon juice and some pinch of salt. Put fillet on greased pan and in the broiler for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
In a separate bowl make the cheese mixture: put butter, Parmesan cheese and mayo. Mix together then add lemon juice, onion powder, basil, salt and pepper.
After broiling the fillet, put the cheese mixture on top of the fish and put it back in the broiler till the cheese gets golden brown.

P217      Parmesan Cheese (but this isn't just for one serving)
P262      Tuna Fillet*
P28.50   Mayo 80ml
P24        Butter
P16.50   Onion Powder
P15.12   Lemon 1pc

*The only tuna fillet I saw (10pcs/pack), I was just too timid to ask the people from seafood section if they could make some for me so I just bought the one frozen instead, there might be something cheaper than that though)

I have put the price list just so you'll have an idea. It seems pricey but you'll get your moneys worth once you've tasted it! This will be your family's favorite dish!I know, coz KV liked it!
